There are signs of a cover up in the death of the Viola Beach the video being erased and the rear end of the car when it was dragged from the canal into which it fell, thus also the blame being the car speeding as it crossed the bridge when it was being raised. The car when it was pulled from the canal had its rear end crushed if a ship like the tanker had gone over it crushing it then all the car would have been crushed not just the rear, but there is enough clearance under the ship for it to pass over without touching it. It looks like the barrier crashed down on the rear end of the car as it went through the barrier which also the trailing exhaust pipe reveals. So why the disappearance of the video? Is it not the policy of any video surveillance that when an accident occurs the video is saved for investigatory purposes for health and safety reasons if nothing else, but especial in the case of criminal negligence.
If the warning lights were not in operation or faulty should not the bridge in as far as the traffic was concerned closed with the barriers down and the bridge raise until the warning lights were repaired. It is those who are responsible for the operation of that bridge who should be investigated.
