In as far as the peace initiative brokered by Russia and Turkey and agreed upon by the various factions involved except for the recognised terrorist groups in the Syrian conflict are concerned the only way that peace will be achieved is if all of those involved do agree to partition Syria off and set boundaries to be agreed on that each of the factions involved should occupy and claim as their own territory and have full control thereof. That is if the main Syrian regime agree to such partitioning which would be doubtful for as thou hast seen before the Syrian conflict got out of hand in that the Syrian rebel group would have agree on a peace initiative if the Syrian President stepped down with the aim of setting up a democratic form of government of which the Syrian regime rejected outright for the only outcome of any peace deal would have been the rebels cease fighting and the situation returning to what it was before the rebellion started. Thus peace can never be achieved if all the factions involved stick adamantly to their agendas in as far as Syria is concerned and the war will carry on for at least the next five to ten years after the breakup of the peace conference. The main sticking point is that the Syrian regimes ambition is that it regains control of the whole of Syria and an end to all the factions giving up any and all claims to the occupation of any and all of Syria’s territory and the riding of the terrorist groups once and for all. Which means the rebel cease fighting, the Kurds retreat from Syrian territory and the terrorist groups are either destroyed or driven out of Syria. The second sticking point is the Syrian rebels will settle for nothing less than an end to the present regime and the president standing down. The third point is that the Kurds will not relinquish their hold on the territory they occupy and would have to be driven out. The fourth now that the terrorist groups are in Syria it will take the combined effort on the part of all of the Syrian regime and the other factions if an agreement is made in as far as splitting up Syria between all the factions involved in the conflict to drive out or destroy the terrorist groups. The fifth point is that the terrorist don’t want the peace conference to succeed and will do anything and everything they can to cause it to fail. But I do say this that if a peace deal cannot be agreed upon then it shall be that I shall cause such devastation that the whole of Syria will be of little or no worth to anyone but the snakes and the scorpions and the inhabitants of the desert wilds for that is what I will saith the Lord of Hosts even the only true and living God turn the whole of Syria into an empty waste land a desert unfit for human habitation which will result in the Nations around about and the western Nations having to deal with a migration and refugee problem on an unprecedented scale.
