Thus say I unto the even at this time in as far as the major Banks threatening to move various operations and jobs to the EU. It seems like the Banks by these threats are cutting of their noses to spite their faces. Why? Because of the cost involved in moving from the financial capital of the world to the EU, where they will have to re-establish their financial operations without any guarantees of success in providing the necessary services to their customers. These threats in moving some of their operations are that just threats for they are hoping to influence the government’s position on negotiating the UK's leaving the EU to their advantage. The costs and the disruption to their business and to their customers and the re-establishing their operations away from the financial centre of Europe and the World to an untried and untested location is to say the least ludicrous even if they have already begun to relocate some of the operations they have decided they will move if the negotiations resulted in a hard Brexit and no beneficial financial deal in as far as the single market is concerned. But also it seems like what the EU negotiator accused the government of the UK seeking to do in have its cake and eating it these major banks are seeking to do is to have their cake and eat it what if eating it causes the painful ulcer of failure? Note that it is not all of their financial operations and movement of all their jobs to the EU only just a portion of jobs and financial operations that they are aiming to move. If they were serious about moving to the EU it would be all of their jobs and services as has been threatened by those of the private and business sectors they all are seeking to influence the governments negotiating position in as far as Brexit is concerned by making the threats they have thus far made. All of them must ask themselves what if at the end of these negotiations are concerned the UK comes out smelling of roses and heading towards becoming one of the worlds or even the world’s major trading Nation especially because of its location not only in relation to the EU but in as far as the Scandinavian Nations and even Russia and the Middle and far East. The UK if it takes the right path even that which I have set before it then it could become one of the richest and most profitable Nations of the World and the trading hub of Europe. But if it takes the wrong path then the outcome would be total devastation.
