Thus saith I unto thee that the Syrian regime is now seeking any and all means and that includes allies that it denies having anything to do with in any way, to end the present cease fire and peace conference for the regime knows without the aid of Russia Iran and Turkey they cannot succeed on their own to drive out all the factions involve in the conflict and regain full control of Syria, which now want to claim a part of Syria for themselves. But even if the regime could it still would have the Syrian rebels to contend with and except for the intervention of Russia would have by them been defeated. The fact now is because of the threats from Russia Turkey and Iran over keeping to the cease fire and attending the peace conference the Syrian regime cannot be seen to be actively engaged in sabotaging the cease fire and peace conference brokered by Russia Turkey and Iran. But there are other issues confronting Russia, Turkey and Iran and that is the cost of a prolonged conflict to them, Russia because of economic sanction still in place and a looking for the easing of sanctions and a better relationship with America with the a new incoming president. Turkey with its own internal and border concerns and Iran over recent sanction cost to its economy from which it is now able to recover from because of a new relationship with America and the west. These have not a bottomless economic pot from which they can cover a Syrian conflict indefinitely also that their reputation with the rest of the world needs to be taken into account especially now the battle for Aleppo is at an end. To all involved in the conflict internal and external this cease fire and peace conference has to work no matter what.
