Thus say I unto thee as concerning the EU's promise that Scotland if it becomes an independent Nation that it will automatically be given membership of the EU without going through the process that other Nations have to go through when applying for membership and meeting the same criteria. Thus also implying that membership will be granted to other UK devolved Nations if they too became independent from the UK. Is this a gracious act on the part of the EU government or is it a divisive ploy on the part of the EU to disunite the United Kingdom with the hope of the UK remaining within the EU and abandoning Brexit. But even if that were not the case and only Scotland was promised immediate membership which would go contrary to its own strict rules and regulations on granting any Nation membership of the EU. In the very act of promising immediate membership of the EU to Scotland is divisive in Nature in the respect of trying to turn those Nations of the UK against the government of the UK of which the Scottish government seems to by the promise of immediate membership of the EU upon independence fallen into the EU's governments trap of being used as a weapon in turning not only Scotland but other UK Nations against their own government and the only objective would be to defeat the present government by forcing a general election by a vote of no confidence in the present government which would delay triggering of article fifty with the hope that a new government would abandon Brexit altogether or seek to hold another EU referendum on EU membership with the hope it would go in their favour for one thing the EU doesn't want is Brexit. Also there is no guarantee after the Brexit Negotiations have ended that if Scotland did become independent the EU would keep its promise to Scotland of special membership status.
