There is a question to be answered in as far as the causes of Earthquakes are concerned and that is what causes pieces to fall off the interior of the Earth’s crust. The answer is simple what causes the tides of the seas of the Earth the gravity of the Moon and the waves of the seas cause land erosion. So also doth the gravity of the moon affect the magma in much the same way but a fraction of pace of movement in comparison to that of the seas. The constant movement of the magma causes interior crust erosion in that sooner or later large portions of the crust fall into the magma causing an earthquake, smaller portions smaller earthquakes.
