THE #TRUE #PATH OF#SALVATION

Matthew 5 is the chapter which deals with the true path of salvation, many say it is the beatitudes, but it is not. The verse which begins with the first step by saying blessed are the poor in spirit, this is a poor translation, for it should say

blessed are those to whom is revealed their true spiritual poverty  for they are on the path to the kingdom of heaven. In other words they to whom it is revealed their true spiritual state dead in trespasses and sins, by the Holy Spirit.

Blessed are they who mourn over their spiritual state for the Holy Spirit shall reveal to them the means to rectify their state, they shall be comforted.

Blessed are the meek they are humbled by the realisation of their true state and seek to do something about it for when they are saved and the new heavens and earth created they shall with all the righteous inherit it.

Blessed are they who hunger and thirst after righteousness those who seek with all their strength to become righteous in the sight of God not through their own righteousness but the righteousness of the Messiah through His death and resurrection which God accepted as the debt paid in full for them, for they shall be filled.

Blessed are they who are merciful to others having received the mercy of God in their salvation.

Blessed are those who seek to become pure in heart for they shall at last see God.

Blessed are the peace makers not between nation and nation, man with man but peace with God and mankind for if all of mankind is at peace with God then there shall be peace between  all peoples and Nations. These indeed shall be the true children of God.

Blessed are they who are persecuted for righteousness for they show to all to whom they blong and when they pass from this life shall go directly to heaven.

Blessed are you who are reviled and persecuted and men say all many of things against you falsely for my sake you reward shall be great in Heaven.
